MLK Day of Service - Fulfilling a Dream

The Prince William County Chapter's Community Service Committee organized a food packing event in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Saturday, January 13, 2024. The chapter is dedicated to helping children in the community and supported Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated - Eastern Region's MLK Day of Service call to action. Over 100 members, families, and friends of the Prince William County Chapter gathered to pack more than 20,000 meals for local children and families. Children also participated in MLK-themed activities and assisted with food packing tasks. The event continues Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated's long-standing legacy of supporting and stimulating the growth of youth

and children.

The Prince William County Chapter partnered with Kids Against Hunger, a non-profit organization established to eradicate world hunger by packaging highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice casserole meals through volunteers. The chapter raised funds to support the food-packing event through fundraising activities.
